ARTIST BIO
Jennifer Columbus is an Orlando-based abstract expressionist known for her intuitive acrylic paintings that explore the emotional depth of color, texture, and the lived experience. A self-taught artist, Jennifer’s work is rooted in the belief that living is an art—a philosophy that guides each brushstroke and composition.
Deeply inspired by nature, love, and the vibrant energy of life itself, her art invites viewers to feel rather than simply see. Drawing influence from the connections that shape her—particularly her partnership with her husband Paul Columbus, a fellow artist. Jennifer creates pieces that pulse with intimacy, spontaneity, and soul.
Her work has been exhibited at Art Basel, Mennello Museum of Art, as well as featured in high-profile venues such as the Grand Bohemian , Bloomingdale’s, the Waldorf Astoria and the Foreigner Restaurant. Whether in a gallery or a public space, her paintings serve as emotional landscapes—raw, resonant, and alive.

ARTIST STATEMENT
Being an artist was limitless I thought, it allowed me to let my Imagination run wild as I dreamed about the possibilities. I then realized that if I were an artist no one could ever tell me how or what to create. There were no rules or limits. Once I realized the freedom in that, I began forward without knowing how I would make that happen but more Importantly, I knew why."
